Born in The Gambia, Tiana moved to Anchorage, Alaska with her family at the age of 3. She left Alaska to study history and film at the George Washington University in Washington, DC.
After completing her undergraduate degree she left D.C. to attend NYU’s Tisch Asia graduate film program in Singapore.
Tiana spent 2019 working as a professor of digital storytelling at Lehman College. She presently splits her time between L.A. and New York in various artistic pursuits. Her thesis film ‘Sand Dunes’ shot on location in Alaska is currently entering the festival circuit.
