Born in The Gambia, Tiana moved to Anchorage, Alaska with her family at the age of 3. She left Alaska to study history and film at the George Washington University in Washington, DC.
After completing her undergraduate degree Tiana left D.C. to attend NYU’s Tisch Asia graduate film program in Singapore.
Presently, Tiana resides in Brooklyn, NY. She works as a professor of digital storytelling at Lehman College, and is currently in post-production on her thesis film ‘Sand Dunes’ shot on location in Alaska.
